Nana Time!

Nana is so in love with her  new grandbabies.  As you can see, Jake is a little jealous that he is not the baby anymore and that he can no longer fit on her lap.  Ava and Behan are beginning to interact with each other which has been so fun to watch.  Nana likes to hold both babies at the same time, but when one cries, the other one follows.......Watch nana try to balance this juggling act!

4 months old!

Ava is already 4 months old and doing so many new things!  She has begun to roll over and she is learning how to hold things while putting them in her mouth.  She smiles and laughs all the time especially when she sees her favorite toys.  She LOVES her singing duck and anything that she can gnaw on.  The best part is that she is now sleeping 8 hours a night.  Now, if we can only get her to go to bed before midnight.........

Daddy's birthday party!

Daddy's 37th birthday was his first as a dad : )  We celebrated his birthday with Auntie Jen, Uncle Ray, Uncle Alex, John, Joshie, Farrah, Ashley, and the Gallaty clan at Benihana's.  Uncle Alex made daddy his favorite birthday cake (Amaretto) that he loved when he was growing up.  It was a fun night!

Ava and Behan's baptism

On December 18th, Ava and Behan were baptized together.  Ava wore the same dress that Mom, Auntie Mandy, Katie, Caitlin, and Milena had worn for their baptisms.  We had about 60 people with us to celebrate the big day.  The celebration was held at St. Anthony's church in San Jose, followed by lunch and cake at Old Spaghetti Factory downtown.  It was a great day!

Ava's first Thanksgiving!

This year we spent Thanksgiving at Nana and Grandpa's house.  Ava got to meet the rest of her Great Aunt's and Uncle's, as well as her cousins Caitlin, Milena, Sam, Emily, Amanda, Erin, Tom, Nicholas, and Molly Claire.  By the end of the day, Ava and Behan were a little overwhelmed and enjoyed some R & R together.

Ava's first Veteran's Day!

Ava is 12 weeks old now and we took our longest road trip so far.  We drove to Carson City so that she could meet her Great Grandparents for the first time and to see our favorite Veteran on Veteran's Day!  She made it all the way to Placerville before we had to stop for a diaper change and feeding.  Boy, were we proud!
