And I quote....

Ok, so I am having a mommy show off moment : )  Ava tried to pull herself up onto furniture immediately after starting to crawl.  Now, she can already stand up and get down when she has something to lean on. Last week, I got this picture and text from Ms. Diane at daycare....and I quote:
"Never in all my years have I had anyone this little do this!  She gets down by herself too!"

That's right folks, our kid is talented, haha! 

Ava's First Easter!

Ava's first Easter was a fun-filled, exciting day!  We stayed the night at Steve and Janet's and had a fun Easter Egg hunt.  She slept through the hunt but she got a cool Easter basket from Auntie V and got to hang with her cousin Behan.  Since it was their first Easter and they were all decked out in their nice duds, we tried to have a photo shoot.  It was a nice attempt and it was hilarious trying to get the two of them to sit, smile, and look at the camera at the same time.  Maybe next year......LOL!

Eight months old and her first 2 teeth!

She got her first two teeth within days of each other at 8 months old!  She has been very stuffed up, snotty, and grumpy, but now that they have broke through, her spirits are better : )

Our First Night Away-7 mos.

For our second anniversary, Steve and I went to Napa Valley while Ava stayed the night with Nana and Grandpa.  It was our first night away from her. Nana reported that she was a good girl.  She got lots of visitors while she was there, including, Janet, Steve, Moe, Milena, Gr. Grandma Sue and Bobo.  It was just by chance that they all stopped by, but they were excited that Ava was there to greet them : )
