While camping at New Brighton, we hit the beach! Although we couldn't swim because the waves were so BIG, we did play in the sand. Ava had fun with the bucket and shovel.

We spent the night at Kathy & Denny's during Spring Break. It was a fun time. Ava loves to entertain them and their neighbors : )

A night in Carson City
We went to visit Nini and Grandad for a night. Chris, Veneer and Behan were there too! Before the trek home we all went to the Children's Discovery Museum to play.

Camping in Big Sur
We went camping at a really nice campground in Big Sur. The river was right behind our campsite, we were surrounded by huge Redwoods, and we went to Julia Pfiefer State beach. It was beautiful! Ava wanted to play in the water even though it was freezing! We also went out to lunch at Ventana Inn and played at the park.

Valentine's Day 2013
This was the first time Ava got to exchange Valentine's. She exchanged one with Daddy, and got a bunch a Valentine's loot from her daycare friends. She also passed out her own Valentine's; fruit snacks with scratch n' sniff dessert cards. Ava LOVES Elmo, so Mommy got her a Valentine Elmo shirt : )
